WHAT WE DO

Building Knowledge
High Priority Strategy

We seek to bring together – in a systematic and sustainable way – best practices to provide basic education to youth and enable adults to prosper in a knowledge-based economy.

2006-08 Phase II Activities
The main initiative builds on an ongoing conversation about improving early childhood education for Northside children.

To meet this goal, NorthWay plans:
• To convene early childhood stakeholders, including organizations representing low-income residents.

The NorthWay Board also identified two lower priority objectives:
• To identify ways to improve post-secondary education enrollment of North Minneapolis residents.
• To improve options and services for ex-offenders.

Key Indicators
The table below shows Key Indicators for building knowledge identified in the NorthWay Plan.
