As a self-guided tour of visual and performing artists, businesses, studios and organizations along West Broadway in North Minneapolis FLOW is wonderful. As a celebration of the spirit of a community it is unparalleled. You can expect to see: Visual Art, Sculpture, Wearable Art, Dance Performances, Theater Performances, Live Music, Spoken Word, Art Making Activities, Art in Real Time and “Let It Flow” Youth Talent Show. The corner of West Broadway and Penn will be busier than ever with more live music. Look for the outdoor photo studio outside BroadwayLiquor Outlet where Pat Carney from The Carney Groupwill be shooting free portraits. Click here for last year’s photos. They were a big hit. |

Hennepin County Sentencing
to Service (STS) and the West
Broadway Business and Area Coalition are spearheading a Graffiti Removal Project for neighborhood
businesses and neighborhoods on
the northside.
If there is grafitti you would like removed, email Erin Jerabek or call the West Broadway Business and Area Coalition at 612-353-5178 for a permission sheet. Permission sheets can also be found online. In most cases, the graffi ti will simply be covered with paint to obscure the markings. Hennepin County says it does not guarantee the paint will match the color of the building. |
