NMTF strengthens efforts with marketing pros

The Northside Marketing Task Force (NMTF) recently selected The Carney Group and Amalgam to implement its marketing campaign to promote North Minneapolis. Both firms are Northside businesses (located on Glenwood Avenue) and have been active with Harrison Neighborhood's development planning. New youth theater show reflects courage and truth

PCYC's Children's Theater Arts Program, starring more than 30 students ages 9-13, presents a captivating original musical by Gavin Lawrence, N 2 THE MIRROR. Performances are set for Thursday and Friday, August 14 and 15 at 6pm, at the Capri Theater, 2027 W. Broadway, Mpls. Admission at the door is $5 for adults and $2 for youth. Twin Cities Center for Arts & Technology study moves forward

The Replication Collaborative (Subzero Collective, Minneapolis Downtown Council, Grassroots Public Policy Institute and NorthWay Community Trust) has signed a partnership agreement outlining their roles and responsibilities during the feasibility phase of the development of the Twin Cities Center for Arts & Technology (TWIN CCAT). TWIN CCAT will be modeled after Manchester Bidwell's Center for Arts & Technology in Pittsburgh. NorthWay will provide the overall leadership as a convener and is currently seeking another organization to serve as a co-convening partner. The co-conveners will host a fall community meeting to share goals and progress. The next steps are to draft a business plan and to formalize the feasibility process. From Debt to Assets: Four Cornerstones of Financial Literacy is a FREE 4-class program held on Tuesday evenings from 6-9pm at NorthWay Community Trust. The next session of this popular community program begins on August 12 with ÒBudgeting to Create Savings.Ó Another session starts in October.
